Breaking barriers:
the wellness express vending machine
As part of a student-led initiative at UC Riverside, I played a key role in launching the Wellness Express Vending Machine, a first-of-its-kind resource providing students with easy, affordable access to essential health products. This project aimed to remove barriers to healthcare by offering items such as emergency contraception, pain relievers, and wellness essentials in a discreet and convenient way.By collaborating with campus leadership and advocating for student health needs, we successfully introduced an innovative solution that promotes accessibility and well-being on campus.
